Job Description: Located in New York on what once was a large wooded area on the east end of Long Island, Splish Splash is now the biggest, most exhilarating family attraction on the island. With one of a kind themed water rides like Hollywood Stunt Rider and Alien Invasion, Splish Splash Waterpark attracts families and guests from all over the Tri-state area. In May of 1991, when Splish Splash debuted, it was a 32 acre water park which contained 2 tube slides, 3 body slides, a family raft ride, 2 speed slides, a 1300 foot “lazy river”, 2 kiddie pools and a restaurant. It has since more than doubled in it's size, and has been ranked in the top ten U.S. waterparks by the Travel Channel. Splish Splash is one of the most unique water parks in the nation in this aspect: instead of cutting down all the property’s beautiful trees, Splish Splash was built in and around them. In 1999 Splish Splash was sold to Palace Entertainment Holding Inc. Palace Entertainment is the largest family amusement and waterpark operator in the U.S. with 32 parks and over 10 million visitors annually. It is possible to do work such as cleaning or painting in the beginning of the season

Cook: Responsabil pentru prepararea produselor alimentare, respectarea curateniei si tehnicilor de pregatire. Trebuie sa cintareasca si amestece ingridientele conform retetei folosind echipamentele si ustensilele de bucatarie; sa portioneze si aranjeze produsul finit pe platouri ca acesta sa fie servit de chelneri. Lucrind in aceasta pozitie vei avea sansa de a cunoaste cum functioneaza procesul de lucru al echipei din bucatarie pentru a obtine satisfactia clientilor, vei vedea si invata cum se prepara delicioasele mincaruri traditional Americane si diverse mincaruri internationale in care vei fi implicat la direct in preparare. Acest job dezvolta capacitatea de gestionare a timpului eficient; ofera posibilitatea de a invata tehnici si retete de preparare a bucatelor noi; de a comunica cu angajatii americani in limba engleza astfel obtinind imbunatatirea nivelului acesteia.
