Job Description: This is a great shift for someone who would like a set schedule as this position always works the evening shift. Evening Shift Room Attendants clean and prepare guest rooms when needed. Replenish towels, empty trash, etc. upon request. Room Attendants are expected to meet the established standards of cleanliness and to assure guest satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Retrieve items from shelves and storerooms and set up the cleaning cart with supplies while keeping the carts and storerooms clean. Clean and wipe all windows; doors; walls; closets; and fixtures. Wash shower walls and tub; clean toilets and stall walls; wipe exposed pipes; clean mirrors/sink and walls in order to have clean rooms. Replace towels/soaps and all rooms amenities. Wash all hard floor areas by hand to remove dirt and soiled areas. Dust and polish all furniture and fixtures. Strip beds of all linen and remake with fresh linen. Check all linens for cleanliness. Check closet for cleanliness and wipe down and clean closet. Put away iron and restock hangers as needed. Vacuum the entire room; public areas; and hallways. Lift and move furniture as needed to be sure the entire area of the carpet is vacuumed. Inspect all doors and locks to be sure they are in working order. Report to a manager if any are not working. Inspect all room equipment (TV; lights; faucets, radios) to be sure they are all working. Assist the laundry department by retrieving dirty linens; sorting laundry; utilize the washer and dryer; fold and put away clean linen. Clean public areas and room balconies. You will also be responsible for Guest Room "turndown" service.

Room Attendant: Responsabil sa creeze confortul oaspetilor prin garantarea faptului ca zonele publice si camerele sunt curate si corect prezentate. Trebuie sa aspire, stearga praful, sa schimbe asternuturile, sa inlocueasca prosoapele si articolele de toaleta etc. Acest job dezvolta capacitatea de gestionare a timpului eficient; ofera posibilitatea de a interactiona cu oaspetii hotelului; ajuta la mentinerea unei forme fizice bune. Lucrind in hotel vei avea posibilitatea de a interactiona cu personalul, cu toate departamentele cunoscind minutios procesul de mentinere a numelui acestuia, vei face parte dintr-o echipa energica, vei invata standartele pe care le urmeaza industria hoteliera pentru a fi renumit. De asemenea vei avea posibilitatea de a comunica direct cu oaspetii hotelului, acestia fiind din diferite regiuni, state, tari, socializind cu ei ai sansa de a-ti crea relatii de prietenie pentru intreaga viata, de a-ti imbunatati nivelul de engleza si de a obtine multe impresii ce tin de comportamentul si atitudinea diverselor nationalitati intilnite. Pentru straduinta manifestata in indeplinirea sarcinilor de a multumi fiecare oaspete ai posibilitatea de a fi rasplatit cu generozitatea acestuia exprimata in tipsuri.
