Job Description: The job will vary depending on need and skills. Participants may be stocking grocery items, working as a cashier, bagging, stocking and selling fresh food and produce. As a Cashier, participants will be responsible for scanning products that a consumer wishes to purchase; once all items have been scanned properly, the cashier collects payment for the goods. This position requires a strong understanding of U.S. currency and the ability to work a credit card machine. Participants must be patient, optimistic and cheerful to perform this job successfully and must have excellent customer service skills. As a Stocker, job duties include maintaining order and inventory control, unloading supply trucks, building and maintaining displays per direction, rotating products as stocked, following store pricing program, following store cleaning standards and providing quality customer service by engaging and interacting with customers to create a positive shopping experience. Participants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to move continuously (standing, bending, walking) while at work. As a Fresh Food, Meat, Seafood, and Produce Clerk, participants obtain or prepare food items requested by customers at counter. Job duties include filling orders by obtaining items from shelves, freezers, coolers, bins, etc., and weighing and wrapping foods. Participants must neatly decorate cakes and create party trays according to standards. They must prepare, cook, weigh, price and package products, and operate approved equipment as necessary. Participants are expected to follow all standards for freshness and product preparation, as well as break down trucks and stock products properly. The job may include using chemical cleaning products. Job may also entail working in cold temperatures inside a cooler, or working in hot temperatures outdoors.

Sales Clerk/Cashier: Responsabil pentru acordarea asistentei in gasirea, masurarea si cumpararea articolelor unui magazin/atelier. Trebuie sa ofere servicii de consultanta si sa opereze registrul de incasare a banilor. / Responsabil pentru primirea platilor prin numerar, carduri de credit, cecuri etc. Trebuie sa salute clientii, sa incaseze sau restituie banii, sa duca evidenta platilor in registrul de casa, sa elibereze cecurile dupa achitare si sa le inmineze clientilor, sa raspunda la plingerile consumatorilor. Pozitia implica munca intr-un mediu operativ. Comunicarea cu clientii in limba engleza este indispensabila si necesita comportament responsabil, atitudine pozitiva, amabilitate si rapiditate in efectuarea sarcinilor. Fiecarui client trebuie de multumit pentru vizitarea localului si de exprimat placerea de a-l vedea revenind. Socializind in permanenta cu clientii iti vei imbunatati considerabil nivelul limbii engleze, vei deprinde capacitatea de gestionare eficienta a timpului si abilitatea de gasire rapida a solutiilor.
